Email invitations to upgrade from QuickBooks to Intuit Enterprise Suite have a significantly lower acceptance rate, so our team introduced an in-product acceptance path to remove that bottleneck.

Accounting firms were accidentally — and sometimes intentionally — creating duplicate QuickBooks accounts, corrupting customer data and undermining Intuit's promise of a single source of truth. I designed three intervention points across the accountant and client invitation flows to block duplicate realm creation without harming invite acceptance rates.

Problem · Outcome

Intuit's single sign-in system prevented customers with multiple accounts — such as employees who are also customers — from staying logged into more than one account simultaneously in the same browser. I designed the MVP experience for the One Intuit Account Access (OIAA) update, introducing color-differentiated profile avatars and multi-account switching so users could hold parallel sessions without constantly signing in and out.

QuickBooks mobile apps — Workforce, QuickBooks Mobile, and GoPayment — each had their own company selector experience, creating a fragmented and inconsistent sign-in journey across the product suite. I led the design to unify all three onto a single Identity Account Selector, bringing native apps to parity with the web experience and reducing the engineering overhead of maintaining multiple systems.
